About

Sherlie is a first-generation Afro-Latina photographer, born in New York City and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Her creative journey was sparked by the quiet power of family photo albums— intimate archives where generations lived on through still frames. It was during a summer in her motherland— the Dominican Republic—that she picked up a camera with intention; capturing life as she saw it.

With a growing portfolio that spans people, places and experiences, Sherlie’s photography is now evolving into an expressive interpretation of her creative ideas. She creates without limitation—inviting others to bring their visions to life, no matter what stage of life they are in.

Through her lens, she captures not just images, but the essence of memory, presence and possibility.
